Evening Shift not to continue anymore Peshawar University

It has been decided by the Peshawar University that evening shift of four years BS program would not be continued now applicable from the next session which was introduced by the Peshawar University in 2009 to accumulate profits.
It was told by the Vice Chancellor of the Peshawar University that the second shift is not financially viable and will be discontinued as a result. He added that their main objective to discontinue the evening shift is that they want to compete with other top ranked universities and register their place among one of the international universities by enhancing the standard of education. The university has produced PhD holders which show that it is making efforts to improve the education quality to a certain extent. A figure was given by him which showed the number of PhD holders that is 220 out of 680 teachers and presently 340 students are involved in PhD programs.
