Five Pakistani Universities In 300 top Asian Universities

Islamabad, Five Pakistani universities have been placed in the list of 300 top universities in Asia as told by QS World Universities rankings 2012.
QS is the world most remarkable raking agency which carry out surveys. As Quacquarelli Symonds UK analyzed that National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Karachi University (KU), Agha Khan University (AKU), Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and the Lahore University are now included in top 300 Asian universities of the world.
The HEC is striving hard for the progress and development of critical technologies, including biotechnology and genetics, immunology, robotics and automation, nanotechnologies, superconductivity, computer vision, photo-optics and lasers and nuclear fusion for energy etc, which is vital for the development and make Pakistan a strong and well educated country which extends its help for the prosperity of the humanity.
HEC established about nine years before since then Pakistani universities have produced 3,280 PhDs. About 5,000 scholars from Pakistan belong to different disciplines; have been assisted to present their research work in leading conferences of the world.
