Formation of Higher Education Commission in Sindh

Karachi, The Senior Minister, Sindh for Education & Literacy Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq on Tuesday informed that Higher Education Commission of Sindh and Bureau of Curriculum will br formed by education department of Sindh. It improves the quality of education and directorate of monitoring and development will extend the monitoring system in all divisions and districts of the province.

While addressing a press briefing he said that IBA Sukkur will be given task to establish the standardized Achievement Test (SAT) to know the standard of the students and this test will be arranged for the students of class VI, who have just passed class V. He further added that Sindh Education Commission has been assign to examine all sectors of education and audit would also be taken in education department.

He congratulated all participants on passing of STEDA Bill in Sindh Assembly and said that it would help in improving the teaching standard in the province.

He further added that a summary has been submitted to Chief Minister Sindh to announce summer vacation in July and August because of floods, rains in July instead of August and September.

Education Minister also instructed all officials of education department to work hard to improve quality of education in Sindh. Two wings have also been completed in school side and new vacancies will be announced to manage the work load.
