Foundation Stone of AIVET Laid by Asifa in Lyari

Karachi, The foundation stone of Basic Education Community Schools (BECS) of National Education Foundations has been laid down by Asifa Bhuto Zardari on Friday. President, Governor Sindh, Chief Minister Sindh, provincial ministers and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
The AIVET institute is adjoining department of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari (BBSUL). The department of Electronics Engineering will supervised the working of this department in which education will be imparted in 10 advanced faculties of engineering and 17 practical fields of vocational training.
Addressing on the occasion, President Zardari said that today Sindh government has fulfilled the dream of Benazir Bhutto to deliver education on the doorstep of the youth and the people of Lyari will get the benefit of this department which is being aided by BBSUL.
Vice Chancellor of BBSUL Dr. Rashid A Shah thanked the President and Sindh government and said that a large number of candidates will get technical education from this department and make their lives better and prosperous.
