Free Education to 40,000 Students through PEF

Lahore, Punjab Education Foundation, Government of the Punjab has initiated a project of New School System under which 419 schools have been established. These schools are successfully providing free education to 40,000 deserving students up to Matric class in the remote areas of the province.

Addressing to the contract signing ceremony of heads of 226 New School System, Chairman Pakistan Education Foundation Raja Anwar said that NSP has taken decision to initiate Phase IV to set up 226 more partner schools in other 22 districts of the province in which about 67,800 deserving students will get the facility of getting free education. Under this project the deserving students will get not only free education but also they will be provided free books. The establishment of these schools in their localities will provide free education facility to the girl students.
