GC University Student & Faculty Members Debar From MPhil & PhD

Lahore, The administration of Government College University debarred its faculty members to carry out research activities including MPhil and PhD. More than 200 faculty members were working on their research works which are endangered by the sudden announcement of the GC administration. Most of them have completed their course work and now they are working on their thesis.
According to the sources, most of the faculty members or teachers have started their research work like MPhil and PhD before joining their services in the GC University Lahore. The administration of the GC University asked them to choose one option out of two, carry on job or do research work. The faculty members, who joined their jobs on contract basis, have resigned from their services desperately so that they can carry on their higher education.
