Lahore, Government College University Lahore has offered admission in fulltime PhD programs for the year 2013 in the disciplines of Islamic Studies, Computer Science and Applied Physics at Center for Advanced Studies in Physics.
The interested and eligible candidates can obtain prospectus from Askari Bank Limited, 6-Chatterji Road, Faqir Plaza, Urdu Bazar Lahore on the cash payment of Rs.500. The candidates can download the admission forms from the website of the University and they should attach the bank draft of Rs.550 in favour of Treasurer, GC Univesity Lahore with the admission forms and submit to the Deputy Registrar (Admissions) of the University till February 28, 2013 during office hours.
The candidates must have qualified in MS/MPhil/equivalent degree in Islamic Studies with at least 30 credit hours, including 24 credit hours of course work and 6 credit hours of Research work of thesis from any HEC recognized university. the candidates must have at least 3.00/4.00 CGPA (in semester system) or 60% marks in annual system. They also should have qualified in GAT subject test conducted by NTS with at least 60% marks or GRE-subject (at least 60%) conducted by ETS, USA which is prior for admission in the PhD program.
