Govt Establishes Medical College in Bhakkar

Bhakkar, Punjab government is going to establish a medical college in Bhakkar in near future. Special Assistant for Health to the Chief Minister of Punjab, Khawaja Salman Rafique has said that the chief minister has also accorded the approval for the establishment of medical college in Bhakkar and it will be given the name of Thal Medical College.

He further added that for making the proposed medical college functional in Bhakkar, Secretary Health has constituted a committee top enable the medical college for starting first academic session in 2013-14.
The chief coordination officer also said that the chief minister of Punjab will also announce the series of incentives for the women by providing jobs while celebrating the Working Women’s day on December 22, 2012. The chief minister also said that their government has started various programs including Aashiyana, Danish School, laptops and self-employment scheme, yellow cab scheme, green tractor scheme and internship program which boost the standard of people and help them for making progress in different fields of life.
