HEC & AIOU new policy for Distance Learning Education System

Allama Iqbal Open University and Higher Education Commission will organize the distance learning education system. They will manage the national conference in the start of the next month to make the national policy to spread this unique system of distance learning across the country.
With the help of open distance learning, this strategy will help the students to enhance their education and also invite some other institutions to join their hands to spread education. Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Shahid Siddiqui reviewed the arrangements of the conference and he stressed over the necessity of spreading education to the huge number of masses living in far off areas of the country. This university is spreading education and plays the leading role in providing education to the students at their doorstep. In the recent national conference in Islamabad, the AIOU and HEC invited an expert of ODL from Canada, Commonwealth to attend this conference.
They are going to plan the strategy, which can help the universities to promote the coordination and exchange of education through the related institutes, which can enhance the quality of education and deliver the services to the students and it will also offer the academic and professional support to the students.
He further added that further changes are made in the ODL system and they need to make the better strategy and approach and it is need of the hour to adopt this latest system of education. The reference of the conference will be presented to the government so that they can get approval over it and ask for its necessary implementation.
