HEC Awards Balochistan Students Indigenous Scholarships

Islamabad, Higher Education Commission Islamabad starts the indigenous scholarships to the candidates, resident of Balochistan for MS and MPhil program leading to PhD. HEC awards indigenous scholarships to the Balochistan students under the declared package for Aghaz-e-Haqooq Balochistan.

The candidates will be declared eligible, who are resident of Balochistan, have 16 years of education, at least two degrees from HEC recognized universities/institutions with 45% marks. The candidates with third division can also apply for the scholarships. The candidates should also complete their GAT (General) test duly conducted by the NTS. The candidates should send their applications for indigenous scholarships with attested copies of educational documents, CNIC, domicile. The students having engineering background, should attach the copy of PEC registration and the candidates with medical background, should attach the copy of PMDC registration.

The serving candidates should apply through proper channel and provide the assurance of their department or university of college that if the candidate is awarded the scholarships then they will release him immediately and on the completion of the study, the candidate will resume his jobs at his parent department, university or college.

HEC will accept the advance copy but NOC should be submitted to the office of the HEC before October 20, 2013. The candidates will have to submit the processing fee of Rs.200 in the form of ATM transfer slip/original deposit slip/bank draft in favor of Director of Finance, HEC and payable in the account number 17427900133401 of Habib Bank Limited.
