HEC Awards Over 10,000 Scholarships on Need Basis

Islamabad, Higher Education Commission has decided to award scholarships to 10,000 students on need basis who are talented and intelligent but their poor financial position does not allow them to carry on their education. These scholarships will be awarded to the students belong to far flung areas of the country during current financial year
There are a lot of students living in less privileged and less developed areas of the country who have talents and capabilities to get more and more education and bring the good name for the country but they have fewer sources and they cannot get education in different universities of the country. Higher Education Commission will give them financial support to carry on their education in various well reputed universities of the country.
The students will get scholarships and get higher education and will be able to support not only themselves but their family and bring good name for the country and also contribute in the progress of the country.
