HEC Awards SSUET Professor for Best University Teacher

Karachi, Higher Education Commission has nominated Prof Dr Syed Faisal Ahmed Bukhari, Department of Computer System Engineering, Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology for the best university teacher award for the year 2011.
The Higher Education Commission has established a main award committee which nominated the Prof Bukhari for the best University teacher in a meeting held in January 2013 which comprised of cash prize of Rs.1,00,000 and a certificate and this award will be given to Prof Bukhari in an award ceremony.
The criteria for the best University teacher is that an individual who have at least five years of teaching experience as a regular teacher and he must have MS/MPhil degree from any HEC recognized University and his age should not be more than 65 years. The nomination of the best teacher should be made through Vice Chancellor and selection committee. The selection of the Prof Dr Faisal Bukhari was made through this process and with weightage to qualification, teaching research and co-curricular activities and the selection of the Dr Bukhari of SSUET made in keep in view all the above mentioned criteria.
