HEC Need Based Scholarships announced by Karachi University

To unprivileged students of the University of Karachi, a scholarships of Rs.6000 per month for the studies, is offered by Higher Education Commission (HEC). In the respective program (morning) studying on University of Karachi campus, who want to apply for this scholarship, all those applicants must be enrolled.

For financially deprived and needy Pakistani nationals, the applicants are invited, for the award of scholarships for Masters (2 Years), Honors + Masters (4 Years) and Pham-D (5 Years) programs. From the Student Financial Aid Office (SFAO), University of Karachi, or from online, the application forms are available.

Latest by deadline of 30^th November, to the Students Financial Aid office, complete applications should be submitted.

On the assessment of needs and merit, along with availability of funds, the scholarship is based. On the basis of information provided in this form and investigations for the authentication of provided information, the selections will be made. For the interview (s), candidates may be required to appear.

One or all the mentioned would be resulted, if providing false information, which are: Admission cancellation, Rustication from the University, criminal proceedings initiation, for any future loan/scholarship, disqualification for award, and all the payment received will be refunded, and equal to total scholarship amount, a penalty.

During working hours, application can be obtained by the candidates from the Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) or can be downloaded through online.
