Karachi, Institute of Business Administration is the best business institute of the country and it has conducted the admissions in the BBA and BS programs. IBA Karachi has issued the report of the admission test of the candidates, which were conducted in the BBA and BS admissions last year. IBA has conducted the admission test for BBA, Computer Science, Economics & Math and Account & Finance. The admission test and interviews of the candidates were conducted and IBA granted admissions to 1055 candidates in which 70% of the candidates, who passed their A level exams and remaining 30% students were those, who passed their intermediate class annual exams. There was not a single students become successful in these admission tests, who pass matric class exams from the government schools. The matric class students, who became successful in the IBA test, they belonged to private schools.

The director of admission of IBA told that there were 754 students, who were granted admission in the BS and BBA programs, who passed ‘A’ level exams. There were 301 candidates, who got admission in BS and BBA and they passed their intermediate class annual exams. There were 165 candidates, who passed their exams from BIEK Karachi and they got admission in IBA. Among other successful candidates, 11 candidates belonged to Federal Board, 25 candidates from Aga Khan Board and 27 candidates from Hyderabad board. He also made it clear that they formed the test on the complete syllabus of intermediate but very few students of inter class passed this test. He said that IBA conducted the tests of the candidates three times in a year like March, June and July. There are some private universities, which grant admissions to the students in August but they take test of the candidates few months earlier.
