In SSUET Entry Test, around 4,300 Candidates Appeared

On Sunday, at the Karachi Expo Center, in the pre-admission entry test, around 4,300 candidates appeared for the bachelor’s degree programs, for academia year 2013 , at the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET), in Karachi.
At 10 am, the entrance test held peacefully under tight security was started. About 1,721 students choose for Civil Engineering, 1,284 for Electronic Engineering, 517 for Computer Engineering, 168 for Biomedical Engineering, 132 for Telecommunication Engineering and 478 for Computer Science, among the 4,300 candidates.
The center was visited by the Registrar Shah Mahmood H. Syed, who told the journalist that more than 4,000 candidates appeared in the test, out of the total registration of 5,000 candidates, for the admission in five disciplines of engineering, against total seats of 760. These disciplines include biomedical, civil, computer, electronic, telecommunication engineering besides computer science.
