Information regarding Admission Criteria & Fee Structure for M.A. / M.Sc or Equivalent

Admission is given after fulfilling the basic and additional criteria, if admissible to any student / Constituent College / Department) the fundamental criteria for admission seeking students of the MA / M. Sc or equivalent requires: (1/4 of matriculation + 1/5 of FA/F. Sc or equivalent + BA/B. Sc
Additional Marks*:
Hafiz-e-Quran ** = 20
Elective = 20
Optional = 10
Diploma = 20
Additional Elective = 10
Additional Optional = 05
Combination of subject = 10
Subject marks*** = Marks obtained
Any other = 5-10
In case of 100% academic efficacy obtained the merit percentage of candidates will be multiplied by 100 while in case of 70% academic efficacy obtained percentage of candidates will be multiplied by 70. For each late year two marks will be deducted from the marks obtained out of 100 marks.
- The candidate must present a Hafiz-e-Quran certificate from a well-reputed and registered institution. Additionally, the departmental admission committee will interview the candidate ensuring that he has learnt the Holy Quran by heart and will not read it from what part he / she is required to recite.
- When subject marks are counted with the earning marks as additional marks, then overall subject marks will be included in the common denominator of the total marks.
Basic Criteria for Diploma holders
(Marks obtained in DAE + Additional Marks*) + (Total Marks of Diploma) +Additional Marks includes:
Hafiz-e-Quran ** = 20
Elective = 20
Optional = 10
Diploma = 20
Additional Elective = 10
Additional Optional = 05
Combination of subject = 10

Any other = 5-10

Admission shall be made on the basis of the Basic Criteria given below:
