Internationalizing Higher Education HEC & British Council Agreed

Islamabad, An agreement between Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and British Council was signed on Wednesday for internationalizing higher education.
The agreement signed by HEC Acting Executive Director/Member Operation & Planning Prof Dr Nasser Ali Khan and Wider South Asia British Council Director Education Dr Nils Tomes on the behalf of their respective organizations.
According to this agreement, both the organizations have made up their mind to establish the coordination in the field of higher education and research. This agreement will be helpful to maintain the faculties comprising knowledge exchange program, leadership program, policy dialogue and transforming the English-language skills.
Under this agreement, the foundation stone of ‘National Institute of Leadership in Education (NILE) will be laid down in Pakistan.
