Islamia University Bahawalpur has started fall 2014 admissions for MPhil, MS, MSC (Hons) and PhD. The MPhil program is offered in biochemistry, education, geography, phytomedicine, Siraiki, media studies, Urdu & Iqbaliat etc. MS Program is available in biochemistry, biotechnology and computer. MSC (Hons) is present in agronomy, forestry, entomology, wild life etc. PhD program will be offered in biochemistry, biotechnology, agronomy, botany, economics, mathematics, physics, education etc.
Eligibility for MPhil is relevant master degree with minimum 2nd division or 2.5CGPA while for PhD is relevant MPhil degree with minimum 65% marks or 3 CGPA. Last date for application form submission is 6th August 2014. GAT test will be held on 17th August 2014 while interviews will be organized on 22nd August 2014. The classes will commence from 2nd September 2014.
