Admissions in MS, MPhil, PhD are announced for 2013 at University of Karachi (KU) which is a very good university especially for higher studies and research, interested candidates willing to seek quality education are required to submit their complete application to the Administration Office till 21^st of May 2013. The candidates who are interested in taking Post Graduate programmes applications are invited for them at KU. Currently there are six teaching faculties including Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Faculty of management & Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy and the number of faculty in the University compromising of almost 1700 people who are highly qualified and a lot of experience in their relevant fields.

Admission Criteria:
The criteria for admission is Test/ Interview by Departmental Research Committee which is in accordance to the instructions are mentioned in the prospectus (available on this page)

Eligibility Criteria:

For M.Phil:
For students who want to apply in MPhil, they must at least have sixteen years of education (MA, MSC, MBA, MAS, MCOM, 4years B.S,B.Pharm,PharmD,MBBS,BDS,DVM,BS/BE or any education equivalent to that with second division at least from a reputable university). For students of MBBS, BDS, DVM, BPharm are required to successfully complete 15 credit hours before enrolling to 24 credit hours M.Phil Courses.

For M.S. (Surgery) / M.D. (Medicine):
The requirement for M.S (Surgery) is Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery (M.B.B.S) & BDS or Equivalent from a reputable university plus one year’s house job with a valid PMDC registration.

For PhD:
An education of M.S.Pharm, M.Phil, LLM or equivalent qualification is needed in the relevant field from a university recognized and approved by H.E.C.
