Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Technical Education has announced the annual exams result 2013. The pass percentage of the candidates remains 57 percent.
According to the details of the result 2013, total 81556 candidates appeared in the exams and 46886 candidates were declared successful. The candidates, Yawar Tariq, roll number 749756 got the first position with 3096 marks out of 3550, Muhammad Ateeq Tahir, roll number 850313 got the second position with 2859 marks and Yasir Mahmood roll number 851553 grabbed third position with 2891 marks. The Senior provincial Minister, Sikandar Sherpao was the chief guest, who distributed the prizes among the position holder students. He also inaugurated the website of the Technical Board. He also announce the establishment of first technical university in the province and said their government has reserved the amount of Rs. 2 billion in ADP so that the candidates can start their own business after completing their education. he said that about 500 candidates will be granted scholarship. He also announced one addition pay equal to one month and rs.10,000 as prize to each position holder student.
