KPITB Introduces Durshal Center Mardan

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) has introduced the ‘Durshal’ project in Mardan and this technology center will help the young entrepreneurs to enhance the business. KPITB has taken many initiatives and this is one of them and it will bring the revolution in the technology in KPK province and help the young generation to start their careers.

Durshal project is started to open the new doors to the collaboration, innovation and introduction of the new businesses. The KPK Minister of Health and IT, Shahram Khan and KPK Education Minister, Atif Khan were also present in this launching ceremony of this project. Sadaf Shaheen is the Project Coordinator and he says that there are many other initiatives, which are yet to be introduced.
He says that this is the first of the series and there would be other centers, which would be established in Peshawar, Swabi, DI Khan, Kohat, Haripur and Swat. The setting up of this project will boost the digital economy of KPK. Under the Durshal project, there have been many centers, which would be launched:
- Durshal Community Innovation Labs – It is developed to promote entrepreneurship, community development and the digital skills.
- Durshal GIL Government Innovation Lab – it is developed to provide solutions to revolutionize the government processes.
- Durshal Access Outreach Program – It is used as the latest tools to promote effective internet use and it helps to reduce the digital divide.
