LCWU Awards 15 Scholarships for KPK girls on Malala Day

Lahore, The Lahore College for Women University celebrated Malala day on which the Vicwe Chancellor of the University announced 15 scholarships to the students from Khyber Pakhtunkhaw and Northern Areas.

The Vice Chancellor of the University said that the scholarships are being awarded on the requyest of Student Council of the University. The scholarships comprising of 10 for degree classes and five for master and PhD classes are included hostel accommodation. On this occasion, she greeted to Malala on her brave act of supporting education for the girls where education is banned for the girls on the name of Islam. She praised her and pointed her that she became the gleam of light and hope for the education of girls.

Chief Minister of Punjab also commemorated the Malala day and prasied her heroic effort for the supremacy of education and said that she is the daughter of the nation and we prayed for her health and for her long life. Malala got world wide fame and become the symbol of bravery and boldness and she played a great act at an early age.
