LCWU Launches Art Exhibition on “2D Performances”

Lahore, Lahore College for Women University is going to conduct the art exhibition of “2D Performances”. The exhibition is going to be held in the NHQ Gallery of Institute of Design and Visual Arts and in this exhibition, about 23 artists participated.
The artists, who showed their brilliant performance through their art works, include Dr. Samina Naseem, Najeeb Jatoi, Asma Majeed, Faiza Khaldoon, Farah Khan, Yasir Waqas, Asma Majeed, Maryam Hafeez, Rabia Yaseen, Sahar Sarfraz, Hira Rafi, Rooma Khan, Anum Mahmood, Maria Ramzan, M. Shoaib, Madeha Iqbal, Urmish Ansari, Fahad Hameed, Noureen Rasheed, Sadia Arshad, Gul Gishkari, Maryam Babar, Nida Ahmad Khan, Madeha Iqbal, Arfan, Javed-Augustine and Sadia Aman.
The Director of the Institute of Design and Visual Arts, Prof Zamurrad Safdar and Curator of NHQ Gallery, Shiblee Muneer visited the gallery with other honored guests and they discussed about the paintings of the artists. Prof Zamurrad said that artists tried their best to show their performance and we hope that they would improve their work more than that through their hard work and patience and try to remove their faults in the painting and bring more improvement in their art-work.
