More and more Subjects in Germany

Actually the German high school curriculum is very standardized from all other countries with some of the fewer electives that are offered other than the US. In the US, the students of high school usually studies seven types of subjects per their semester and study five times a week in the same school period. While in Germany the students study twelve subjects that are weekly class schedule list and there daily schedule is also different.
In Germany usually students are taught more subjects per semester than any other country. In Germany students are taught with fewer weekly hours of their instructions but the studies are of longer time period that includes five, seven or even nine years. At the age of 14 religious instructions are mandatory as like in the US. There are separate classes for all types of religious instructions and is due to religious denominations that are either Protestant or Catholic.
