More Than 60 Female Students Get Solar Lamps

Taxila, The Solar lamp distribution ceremony was held in the Govt Degree College for Women Hassanabdal in which more than 60 female students were awarded with solar lamps. The chief guest of the ceremony was Member of the Punjab Assembly, Sher Ali Khan distributed the solar lamps among the female students.

The MPA of the Punjab assembly said that the provincial assembly has set up the Ujala program worth Rs.2.5 billion for the up gradation of the education in the province. The students are facing serious difficulties in getting education due to this serious energy crisis prevailing in the country. He also said that about 0.2 million solar lamps costing Rs.2.5 billion will be distributed among the talented students of the province.
