The Faculty of Animal Production in the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore has initiated Nestle Need Cum Scholarship based on Merit for B.S (Hons) Dairy Technology and DVM.

The requirement in this regard from the deserving/ needy undergraduate students of B.S (Hons) Dairy Technology and DVM for the Nestle Need Cum Scholarship based on Merit is that they should provide an application on plain paper with supporting documents.

The candidates who have taken 60% marks in previous semesters are eligible. It is required by the students to provide copies of Utilities Bill at the time of interview. Following other documents are required, certificate from Nazim/ Councilor of the area concerned if self employed, Income certificate of parents from their employers to be provided at the time of interview. It is recommended that the applications to be forwarded by the tutor who is in charge.

The students who meet the above criterion should submit their applications which should be complete in all respects to the Dean’s Office, faculty of Animal and Production Technology during the office hours till 17^th June, 2013.

All the candidates succeeding are directed to submit a confirmation letter which will show that no other scholarship/funds are taken by them.

The grant taken by the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences is 400 million rupees which will be used for a total 43 research projects during the year 2012-13.
