NUST Starts Pakistan’s Fastest Supercomputer

Islamabad, The NUST has launched its quickest supercomputer which is accessorized with most latest and developed items. This supercomputer is launched in their Research Center for Modeling and Simulation. The supercomputer manufactured by NUST is the fastest and most comprehensive computing system which has quickest GPU based which is operating in any of the computer system in any institution / department of the country. It is equipped with multi-core processors and graphics co-processors and interior processors which has the speed of 40 Gbps. This computer can perform its function with the speed of 132 teraflops. It is also accessorized with Dual Quad Core Computer Nodes (256 processor cores), 66 Node Supercomputer with 30,992 processor cores, two Head Node (16 processor cores) and 32 Navidia Computing processors.
According to the principal of RCMS, they have manufactured this masterpiece with the untiring efforts of professional and students of the University which was funded by Ministry of Sciences and Technology.
