Pak University Included in Top 300 Business Schools

Suleman Dawood School of Business is established at Lahore University of Management Sciences and it is ranked among top 300 business schools of the world as the British ranking agency, Quacquarelli Symonds reported. It is said that Harvard University in US topped the ranking and after that London Business School in UK and SDSB at LUMS is ranked at 251.It is the only university in Pakistan, which is featured on the list and LUMS took it to the official page to declare its achievement. The rankings of the universities and business schools were based on the four factors:Academic reputationCitations per paperEmployer reputationH-index citationsThe QS World University Rankings by subject 2017 cover 46 disciplines and it highlights the top performing universities of the world in each academic area. The concerned agency compiled the rankings of the universities annually to help the prospective students to know about the leading universities of the world in the particular subject. With the research citations, the result of the major global surveys of employers and academics are used to give the ranks to the universities. There were six Pakistani institutes of her education, which ranked among the world top 800 universities by the rankings of QS.
