Peshawar University Introduces Distance Learning Program for Afghan Students

Peshawar, Peshawar University has decided to extend its distant learning programs for the Afghan students. The University has agreement with Nangarhar University of Afghanistan for research programs. Earlier Peshawar University and University of Kabul are already executing different research projects.
This was stated by the Vice Chancellor of Peshawar University Dr Qibla Ayaz while talking with a three member delegation of Canadian High Commissioner. The delegation was led by the Political Counselor Denis Chouinard. He also explained that the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan are bound in mutual relationships with each other and they have relations across the border so there movements across the border could not be stopped.
The other members of the delegation including Christopher Martin, Analust Asia Division for Canadian government and Uday Sequeira, first secretary (political) of the Canadian High Commission Islamabad. During this meeting with the three member delegation of the Canadian High Commission, Prof Babar Shah and Director of Pakistan Studies center Prof Fakhr ul Islam were also present in the meeting.
