PhD Scholarship Program Offer By UCA 2013-14

Lahore, The Scholarships for Doctoral studies for 2012-14 have been announced by the Central Asian Faculty Development programs (CAFDP) of the University of Central Asia (UCA) delightfully at other institutions around the world like University of Cambridge, UK, German Universities through partnership with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), University of Montana, US and some other world fame universities.

The CAFDP of UCA also offers its support for Central Asian scholars to complete their doctoral studies after completing their graduation and work as UCA faculty for at least five years at the Graduate School of Development or the undergraduate School of Arts and Sciences at UCA’s campuses in Khorog (Tajikistan), Naryn (Kyrgyz Republic) and Tekeli (Kazakistan).

The collaborative educational institutes of UCA are offering PhD in the field of Natural and Applied Sciences including Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Physics, Geology/Geosciences, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering Sciences (environmental engineering, complex systems analysis and design), environmental sciences and environmental earth sciences, rural development and natural resource management.

Social Sciences and Humanities: the disciplines of Archaeology, Cultural Anthropology/ Ethnography, Economics, Sociology, Asian and Middle Eastern studies, development studies (Economics), Ethnomusicology, Mountain Tourism, Public Policy and Business (with a focus on entrepreneurship).

All applicants who meet the eligibility criteria of UCA, are invited to submit full applications to partner universities for getting admission. UCA will select the most suitable programs and universities for the students on the basis of the field of studies of the student and for the suitable opportunities.

For applying for the admission, email your detailed current CV along with UCA date sheet, personal statement expressing desired field of study that why you trust that you are a good candidate for the scholarship, what are your long term goals and your understanding and commitment to the mission of UCA (maximum 2 pages), Proposal of your Research (maximum 5 pages).
