- I want to appear in the PMS exams. Is there any age relaxation for Govt. servants? And what evidence I have to produce to obtain the age relaxation if any?
ANSWER:
Yes, there is age relaxation for the Govt. Servants as per defined in the advertisement. - I have not yet received my call letter for the written test that is being held. My name and roll no. is given on the website. What should I do?
ANSWER:
Such candidates are required to check their centre from the website and approach to the examination centre with original CNIC. - Can you send me any sample paper of MCQ so that we may know the real pattern?
ANSWER:
Sample Papers or Past papers are not provided by the PPSC. However the the guidelines to attempt the MCQ paper along with sample answer sheet is available on our website. - Explain the rule of age relaxation S&GAD 9-36/81 4-11-2006. Can every candidate take advantage from this ?
ANSWER:
General age relaxation is for everyone, fulfilling the pre-requisite criteria for the post. - Is the Domicile of Islamabad is admissible to apply through PPSC?
ANSWER:
Candidates bearing domicile of Islamabad are not eligible. - If a person has two degrees with result declared in same year, for example, M.Phil from P.U. and M.Ed from Allama Iqbal Open University, whether both these two degrees would be considered valid by PPSC under rule, or only one of these two?
ANSWER:
Two Degrees cannot be attained in the same academic years. - Is the downloaded form from PPSC’s website is free of cost?
ANSWER:
Yes, but you are required to pay the requisite Application processing Fee on or before the closing date of the said post and attach the Challan Form while submission of the Application. - May a candidate submit his/her Departmental Permission Certificate etc. afterward?
ANSWER:
Yes, as soon as you get the Departmental Permission Certificate, submit to the PPSC’s Office with reference no. of your Application. You should always write CNIC, Case No. and the Name of the post, you have applied for. - May I send my CV for any post?
ANSWER:
No, CVs are not acceptable. Prescribed form need to be filled and submitted as per rule. - May I apply prior to the Advertisement?
ANSWER:
No, prior to the Advertisement, candidates are not allowed to apply. - May I submit application fee in any bank except NBP?
ANSWER:
Yes, you may deposit the Application Fee only n the State Bank of Pakistan and National Treasury Office of the District except the National Bank of Pakistan. - What is the procedure after my recommendation?
ANSWER:
PPSC recommend suitable candidates after a prescribed procedure and send it to the concerned Department. Appointment and posting of candidates are the responsibilities of that Department and PPSC has no concern after sending the recommendation.
