PU Made Amendments in BA/BSc Regulations

LAHORE: In Continuation of the office notification no.4557 dated 14-11-2012 that Vice Chancellor of Punjab University accorded approval for the following recommendations of the chairman of the committee established by him to get solved the problems and settle the questions asked by the office of the Controller of Examination for creating hindrance in the appearance of Private/External degree holder candidates for BA/BSc examination from 2014. The students who appear in the BSc examination as private candidates with the combination of subjects involving no practical will be allowed. The candidates who want to appear as private/External degree in BA examination with the combination of subjects (elective and optional) involving no practical will not be allowed to sit in the exams. The candidate who has already passed his/her BA examination and he/she wants to appear in the additional subject/s having no practical will be allowed in the exams. If the candidate who has passed BSc examination as a regular student and he after this he/she wants to sit in the examination of additional subject/s of BSc with practical work then he/she will be allowed to sit in the additional subject/s after presenting a certificate from the principal of recognized/affiliated college that he/she has completed his/her practical work in their institution.
