PU Organizes International Punjabi Conference

Lahore, Punjab University Lahore has organized a two day international Punjabi Conference. The conference was arranged in the Old Capmus, Sherani Hall. The opening session of the conference was chaired by the Vice Chancellor of Punjab University, Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran.
There were other guests, who attended the conference including Justice ® Syed Afzal Haider, Abdul Rashid Bhatti, DG PILAC Malik Muhammad Ashraf Awan, Fakhar Zaman, famous journalist. Sohail Ahmed, Chairman Punjabi Department, Prof Dr Ismat UllahZahid, Dr Naheed Shahid and Mudassar Iqbal Butt, faculty members and large number of students.
Addressing to the conference, Vice Chancellor of Punjab University Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran said that there are about 750 verses, which are about 1/8th of the Holy Quran in which special emphasis is given on the research on the mysteries of the universe. He also appreciated the efforts of the Punjabi Department for the organization of the Punjabi Conference on international level.
