Punjab Govt Distribute Over 17,000 UPS Units among Students in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi, Punjab Government has started another ‘Ujala Program’ in which they started distribution of solar energy Uninterrupted Power Supply units among students of 9th and 10th classes. Under this scheme they distributed about 17,000 UPS among students of government schools located in all four districts of Rawalpindi division.
It was decided that the students who got marks up to 55% in the annual examinations of 9th and 10th classes then they will be awarded with the UPS in the ceremony which was held in Arid Agriculture Pir Mehr Ali Shah University.
There are about 5435 students selected from government high schools of Rawalpindi district who are selected to give away the solar energy UPS so that they continue their education interruptedly when there is no electricity.
