Punjab Govt Initiates Youth Internship Program

Rawalpindi, Punjab government is going to introduce a new three month Youth Internship program for all postgraduate students of the province for which they have already started enrolment of desired candidates.
According to the Youth Internship program, 50,000 postgraduate jobless young candidates will be given training in the related disciplines to get more and more experience. The candidates will be awarded Rs.10,000 each every month as stipend which will be made available through Bank of Punjab on their easy payment cards.
The Joint Director, Punjab Information technology, Masood Ahmed said that Punjab government has allocated 1.5 billion rupees for the subject project. Now 26,000 candidates have got registered their names in different discipline. Punjab government has already started four other mega project for the young generation of the province including Punjab Education Endowment program, Sports and Youth Development, Youth Competition 2011 and Punjab Youth Festivals from which thousands got benefit and experience and now they are able to serve their nation in better and efficient way.
PML-N Senator Begun Najma Hameed said that youth comprised of 47 percent of the total 85.3 million registered voters in the country according to new registered voters lists made by Pakistan Election Commission taking data from NADRA. PML-N is adopting practical steps in giving all necessary facilities to the students of the country to get higher quality of education which is the practical aspect of their party. She exclaimed that their party believes in practical working rather than raising hollow slogans.
