Punjab University Bachelor Level Medical Programs

Lahore, University of the Punjab approved the bachelor level medical program like MBBS and BDS with the course, which is taught in the King Edward Medical University from academic session 2017. The vice chancellor of the Punjab University presided over the meeting of the academic council and the Registrar of the University of Punjab and heads of the academic departments and other professors were also present in the meeting.
It was decided that the medical program like HEC level 6, 7 and 8 and PMDC level 1, 2 3, and 4 will e offered to the candidates under Faculty of health Sciences of University and it was known of Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. The VC addressed the meeting and said that management of Punjab University wants to establish state of the art medical college and hospital and it wants to provide best health services to people. He further added that the management is trying to revise the syllabus of all academic programs on the advanced line and the meeting has approved the agenda items about recommendations of board of studies of all faculties, which are relevant to revision of curriculum and the related issues.
