Punjab University Offers Admissions in Textile Courses

Lahore, The Department of Textile Engineering and Technology of University of the Punjab has announced admissions in the Textile Courses (Self Supporting Evening Programs) and PGD in Textile Processing Technology and Textile Technology Certificate Course.

The interested candidates can collect the admission forms from the concerned department from March 11, 2013 during office hours on the cash payment of Rs.300 and they submit their admission forms in the same office till March 22, 2013.

The University offers admissions in the PGD class in the programs of Colour Science, Textile Management, Textile Processing Technology, Textile Fiber Science, Environmental aspects of Textile Processing and Quality Control, Textile Chemical and Auxiliaries and Textile Processing and Equipment. The course will be continued for one year comprising of 2 semesters.

The candidates who have complete their BSc Chemical Engineering, BSc Textile Engineering, BE Textile Engineering, MSc Chemistry, MSc Fiber Technology and MSc Home Economics with Clothing and Textile specialization will be eligible for grant of admission in the Postgraduate diploma.

The University offers admissions in the Certificate course in the programs of Textile wet Processing, Introduction to Textiles, Textile Management and Textile Quality Control, which is a three months course and there will be only two classes in a week on Thursday and Friday. The candidates will be eligible who completed their FA or equivalent education.
