Research Activities Cooperated by GCU, LCWU

By showing mutual understanding, the doors of the laboratories and other equipments have been open by the Govt. College GCU and Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), in Lahore, for each other, in order to facilitate young researchers, while a new campus is going to be open by LCWU in Kala Shah Kaku, the pc1 have been made and sent to the Govt, and all the measures for this purpose have been taken.
The Vice Chancellor GCU, Dr. Khaliq-ur –Rehman, addressed at the “One Day National Symposium and Poster Presentation on Materials Sciences,” as a Chief Guest, in LCWU, where he said that to prove science useful for a common man, we all have to make efforts. Among the numerous disciplines of science, collaboration is necessary for this purpose.
The idea of mutual cooperation of research and academics between the two pertinent universities was appreciated by the Vive Chancellor of LCWU, Dr. Sabiha Mansoor. For faculty development and internationalization, a directorate has been setup by LCWU. Dr. Mansoor added that the cooperation can be enhanced in this area by both the Universities.
The All Pakistan Declamation Contest was won by the Debating Society of Government College University (GCU), which was conducted by Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) in Islamabad.
