Students Get Admissions in MPhil, MBA & MSc on Self Finance

Kotli, Azad Jammu & Kashmir University, Kotli Campus started admission process for grant of admissions to the students in the disciplines of MPhil, MBA and MSc. The University administration issued the admission schedule, according to which the University fixed the entry test date. The candidates appeared in the entry test and those candidates, who qualified in the entry test, were asked that there is no merit and they will have to get admission on self finance. The students were compelled to deposit the fee, when the students deposited their fees then Dean of the University called the students and said that they can refund their fee as this campus would not conduct the classes this year.

Now the admission processes in all other university have been closed and the Kotli campus of Azad Kashmir University is not willing to carry on academic activities in the university. The students and their parents are protesting against the unreasonable attitude of the Dean of the Azad Kashmir University. The students and their parents have decided that they will contact with the High Court of Azad Kashmir and raise their protest in front of the Assembly building in Muzaffarabad. They also opted that the dean of the University has wasted the precious year of their lives. They made demand with the president of Azad Kashmir, who is also the Chancellor of the University to look in to the matter and take notice of the irresponsible behaviour of the dean of the University. the students and their parents have also announced that they will go on the sit-in, protest and even start civil disobedience movement.
