Students Protest UET Mirpur Closed for 3 Days

Mirpur, The students of University of Engineering and Technology Mirpur protested against the behaviour of the administration and in the favour of their demands. The students opted that about 350 students were stopped to move to the next classes and they did not promoted to the next class. They also blamed that the administration of the University demanded about 25 thousands rupees from the students to promote them to the next class.
When contacted with the administration of the University, they said that the students, who were failed in three subjects, have not been promoted and stopped to go to the next classes. The students demanded that they should be promoted to the next classes. When the administration did not accept their demands then they rose slogans and protested against the administration of the University. They also threw stones on various vehicles resulting five vehicles received heavy damages. Vice Chancellor closed the university for 3 days.
