Talented Students Intended to Send Abroad

Rawalpindi, The Provincial government is formulating a policy according to which brilliant and talented students will be sent abroad for higher education under the provision of Endowment Fund of the Punjab Education Foundation.
Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif announced that Punjab government has allotted Rs.8 billion for the fund which would support the deserving students in getting higher education in their respective fields while addressing on a laptop distribution ceremony at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS AAUR).
He gave away 7,000 laptops among students belonging from different universities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad city. He further added that 300,000 computers would be distributed among students on the basis of their excellent performance in respective fields next year.
The MNA said that distribution of laptop is done justly and criticism for the sake of criticism is unfair.
He further said that our younger generation comprises around 65 percent of the total population and PML (N) government is solving their problems on priority.
Parliamentarians including Najma Hameed, Seema Jeelani, Tahira Aurangzeb, Malik Shakeel Awan, Malik Abrar, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Raja Hanif, Malik Iftikhar, Ziaullah Shah, Sharyar Riaz and Commissioner Rawalpindi Imdadullah Bosal, DCO Capt. (Retd) Saqib Zafar and officials of Punjab government were also attend this ceremony.
