The University of Canterbury grants the UC Undergraduate admission Scholarship for high-achieving undergraduate international applicants. The University of Canterbury announced these scholarships in year 2011 to encourage the talented applicants starting an undergraduate degree program at the University of Canterbury. These grants is going to be offered to the students who are willing to chase their first year of an undergraduate degree program located at the University of Canterbury or the aspirants who have fulfilled or are chasing a university admission qualification.

Eligibility criteria:
To be qualified for the grant, the aspirants have to fulfill the below eligibility criteria:
o To the international applicants these grants are going to be offered who are wondering to begin their first year of an undergraduate degree program at the University of Canterbury and as well as the applicants who have fulfilled a university access qualification at a New Zealand school.
o The students might start study in either Semester one or in the Semester two, and have to be registered full time in their first year of study in an undergraduate degree program.
o The grants is going to be available to applicants for 1 academic year.
o These grants is going be offered to the applicant who have accomplish the academic qualifications which is listed in the appendix, and the applicants who have achieved university entrance. The applicants who are fulfilling the university admission necessities in New Zealand through the other pathways are as well going to be entitled for deliberation, and they on a case-by-case basis they are going to be deliberated.
