An elegant cultural exchange program was held at the Archeology Museum Hall University of Peshawar. The show was organized by Korean university, UoP peace foundation Pakistan. The national heritage of the two countries was demonstrated through national songs, folks show and musical instruments. The Korean Guitar enchanted the audience and the Rabab was next to none to amuse the audience. Apart from music the famous martial art “Taekwondo” was also demonstrated. The traditional Pakhtun warrior’s feats of war were also witnessed.
At the occasion many academic intelligentsia expressed their point of view. They talked about the importance of the culture and emphasized its perseverance, which is in bad hands now a day. Dean of the faculty of Islamic and Oriental Studies Prof. Dr. Qibla Ayaz appreciated the tour of Korean delegation. The representative of the Korean University also praised the hospitality of the Students and University.
This historic event was conclude by Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Azmat Hayat and called this a day of the public diplomacy which will be helpful in bringing the two nations culturally more close.
