UoB SED MoU Underprivileged Schools

Quetta, University of Baluchistan and Secondary Education Department of Baluchistan have signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the improvement of research and the academic activities. The university has signed the ceremony with the SED department at University and VC of University and SED secretary presented the memorandum.

University of Baluchistan has issued the press release and said that University of Baluchistan adopted the Government Girls Middle School Lower Karez and Government Boys High School, Lower Karez to support them in getting the education according to their requirements.

Secondary Education Department allowed the UoB to adopt these schools for the period of two years and ensure that these schools are providing education properly and also maintains the quality of education under the supervision of Baluchistan University. It is added that Secondary Education Department will provide annual grant to get the school material and ensure that the transfers and postings were done after consultation of main person at the university.

Under MoU, the university will organize the training courses and workshops for teachers and to the staff members of the schools. The university will make the school libraries functional and also equip the laboratories with advanced technology and offer course book to the students. The agreement was signed to assist the deprived schools and help the students to improve their skills to face the challenges of future.
