Virtual University launched B.Ed in Technical Education

The B.Ed in Technical Education has been launched by Virtual University of Pakistan. On Wednesday, VU Pakistan, Punjab University and Technical University of Kaiserslautern Germany launched this one-year B.Ed (Technical Education). To train a new generation of teachers to convey technical and vocational education, it is a pre-service study program. This TVET sector program will start for the first time in Pakistan. University of Kaiserslautern is a leading German university for this type of education program. This study program is a part of an inclusive program by National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) by TVET Reform Support Program. This program is funded by EU and embassies of Netherlands, Norway and Germany. The inauguration ceremony of this program was launched at PU where different concerned persons were present. First Sec German Embassy congratulated the three universities to start this reformed program. She said this program will help Pakistan to enhance the skills of millions of its youth population.
