Young Scientist of Punjab University Selected as Member of WEF

Lahore, World Economic Forum has started inclusion of young scientists in their session since 2009. These scientists can share their ideas with each other and can also share the recent development with the leaders of the world which has been made in their department as well as sharing scientific development. These scientists have also been taking on one day visit to research centers, industries and universities. The WEF has also decided to invite not more than two scientists from each country. The scientists who have good track record and excellent research abilities are invited in the conference.

Punjab University has selected one young scientist, Aftab Ahmed Chattha from School of Biological Sciences who is working on Stem Cells Biology for the world economic forum which has been scheduled from September 11 to 14, 2012. This year only 36 candidates have been selected from 20 different countries to participate in the annual meeting of New Champions 2012 entitled “Creating the future economy”. There will be other 2000 participants of the meeting belong to different fields of life like businessmen, Global young leaders, government, global shapers, religious leaders, university representatives, young scientists from 90 different countries of the world.
