Actually the education of Norway is free so there are no tuition fees at any higher education institution but fee can be imposed for some certain type of professional programs, study at some of the private institutions and special educational programs. Actually the living grants are only awarded to all those international students that are selected for the fellowship programs. There is also a need of minimum of NOK 80,000 per academic year and also have to provide a written with the help of bank statement.
There are some types of international students that are eligible for the study loans and also for stipends that are:-
- Citizens of EEA countries
- Immigrants
- Citizens of Central and Eastern European countries as well as developing countries
- Nordic nationals
Political refugees and persons granted residency on humanitarian grounds.
