Pakistani American Scholar got Peace Award

Dallas, Dr. Qaisar, A Pakistani Americn scholar and Assistant Dean at University of North Texas received an impressive Staff Contribution Award. The president of the university has conferred this award on his influential peace assembling works.
The University president Dr. V. Rawlins handed over him the influential award in a ceremony last week for his wonderful activities in peace making and research works.
Dr. Qaisar, Abbas set up and organized the First South Asia Peace Conference last November which was advantageous in bringing the activists, scholars, diplomats and South Asian community members to the university.
Hussain Haqqani, The Former Ambassador of Pakistan and Ahmed Hakimi from Afghanistan were the main speakers at the conference alongwith activists from India and Pakistan and large number of educationists from all over the world who presented research work at the conference.
Dr. Qaisar is strongly busy in peace building process as a board member of the Dallas Peace Center. He is also busy in doing research work on media coverage of interstate activities in South Asia as research Fellow of the Casselberry Peace Institute at this university.
