SMIU and NBP sign MoU to Grant scholarships to Students

Sindh Madrassat ul Islam University and National Bank of Pakistan signed a memorandum of understanding. Under the provision of this MoU, National Bank of Pakistan will provide Rs.2.88 million for the 20 deserving and admirable students of Sindh Madrassat ul Islam University for 4 consecutive years.
The Vice Chancellor of SMIU, Muhammad Ali Sheikh and the executive vice president and divisional head (communal social responsibility department) of National Bank of Pakistan, Owais Asad Khan signed this memorandum of understanding in a ceremony.
Dr Muhammad Ali Sheikh, VC of SMIU addressed the ceremony and said that the role of NBP for the provision of education and support to the deserving students is meaningful. He also emphasized that various other national and multinational companies and organizations can step forward and they can support to the students, who come from the socio-economic background by managing the corporate sector responsibility program.
