Students Protest Against 8th Class Results

DG Khan, Hundreds of female students of government schools of Dera Ghazi Khan protested against the results of the 8th class. They protested that Punjab Examination Commission took the exams of 8th class and the students of Government Girls High School Mulla Quaid Shah protested that 290 students appeared in the exams and about 260 students were declared failed in the exams and only 30 girls were declared passed. The girl students refused to accept the results being prepared by the Punjab Examination Commission.

The hundreds students of other schools were also participated in the protest and they demanded with the Executive District Education Officer that they order for the rechecking of the papers of the students once again and prepare fresh and revised result of the 8th class. The students opted that they participated in the bi-annual exams of their schools and they got brilliant marks but they were declared fail in many subjects including General Science while they knew that they have done good. The parents and the students attend the protest with their teachers and they also gave threat that if their demands will not be met then they will protest in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner.
